Arson suspected as abandoned home burns to ground

Posted: Updated:

Investigators believe arson is to blame for a large house fire on the city's east side.

SkyFOX captured images of the towering blaze on East Lawn near Warren Avenue and Chalmers around 6:30 a.m. Tuesday.

FOX 2's Amy Andrews says the home was abandoned and that no injuries were reported.

Firefighters could be seen hosing down neighboring homes, trying to prevent the blaze from spreading.
