School bus and cement truck collide in Nassau County

A cement truck collided with a school bus in Nassau County, resulting in one fatality and many serious injuries, officials said.
The accident happened near an overpass at Oyster Bay Road and Matinecock Court in Locust Valley.
Police said the truck hit a train overpass, causing the cement barrel to dislodge, the AP reported. Then the driver veered into a school bus from the Locust Valley Central School District.
The driver of the school bus was killed and six other people were hurt. Among the injured were four children.
Police officers and detectives were called to the scene to investigate.
