A Brooklyn resident is on his way back home after he survived the shooting massacre in Aurora, CO Friday.

Christopher Rapoza, a musician from Colorado who now lives in the Bedford-Stuyvesant section was at the midnight showing of The Dark Knight Rises when suspected gunman James Holmes began shooting.

Rapoza was grazed in the back during the shooting and received stitches at an area hospital, according to his Facebook page. His friends on Facebook said he was due back in Brooklyn Sunday night.

Rapoza, who plays bass for a local band, was in Colorado on a trip with his girlfriend.

He linked to photos of his wound and blood-stained t-shirt on the social media website Reddit.com and commented that he was "I'm doing all right just a little shook up. Me and my girlfriend waited until it seemed the shooting was finished so we were some of the last people out of the theatre and there was a lot of blood."
