A Long Island teen was arrested for drunk driving after crashing his car and killing two of his friends early Saturday morning.
Police say 17-year-old Ryan Foote was driving a 2007 Hyundai Sonata southbound on Winters Drive around 1:15 a.m. when he lost control of the car and hit a fence and trees.
The impact ejected 18-year-old James McClease and 17-year-old Rashawn Minter who both were pronounced dead at the scene.
Foote told the Assistant District Attorney that he admitted to drinking two to three Bud Light Tall Boys before getting behind the wheel.
Foote was charged with driving while intoxicated at the scene of the crash, and was treated at Stony Brook University Medical Center for injuries.
Foote pleaded not guilty on a charge of driving while intoxicated at his arraignment in First District Court in Central Islip on Sunday. He is being on $100,000 cash bail or $250,000 bond.
