A woman from New Jersey was among those injured in the fatal shooting at a Colorado movie theater, according to family members.
23-year-old Jacci Fry, who lived in Byram Township prior to moving to the Denver area five months ago, was hit in the face by shrapnel, possibly from the exploding tear gas canister. Fry has undergone surgery and is recuperating according to her family.
Fry's sister Jamie said Jacci was due to be released from the hospital on Saturday and their parents are with her.
Fry is working her way to become a nurse and who is currently a waitress at a Denver area restaurant. She went to see the "Dark Knight Rises" with about 15 friends.
