BRENTWOOD, N.Y. (AP) - Three people were injured, including a pregnant woman and a child, in a car crash on Long Island.
Suffolk County Police say the car went airborne after losing control on the Expressway Drive North service road before crashing into a building in Brentwood Thursday night.
According to Newsday, the pregnant passenger was transported by helicopter to a hospital. The male driver and a young girl were transported by ambulance to a hospital.
The extent of their injuries wasn't immediately available.
Police say excessive speed appeared to be a factor in the crash.
