Are you tired of the high price of your morning coffee?  How about this:  You can now pay $2.50 for a 16 ounce cup of water.

Molecule, aka the Water Cafe, on E 10th St in the East Village is serving what many argue is the best water in the world: New York City tap water that is filtered down to what they claim is its purest form.

And if you don't want your water straight up, the price includes an optional vitamin supplement mixed while you wait.

DNAinfo.com reporter Serena Solomon came to Fox 5 news to talk about her story.

Solomon says the cafe workers put the water it through a seven-stage filter system.  They claim it makes the water healthier.

The cafe also blends a variety of vitamins into the water, for an additional fee.

Molecule also plans to start a delivery service.
