A two-story, waterfront penthouse in Long Island City is on the market for $3.25 million.

The Daily News report that if the penthouse sells for asking price, it will be the most expensive condo ever sold in Queens.

According to PropertyShark.com, the previous record was set in 2008 when a condo, also in Long Island City, sold for about $3.05 million.

Real estate insiders tell the Daily News that the condo is expected to bring more business and prestige to the neighborhood.
