Police on Long Island are looking for a driver that hit and killed a pedestrian and then took off.
Nassau County Police say it happened Monday evening in Massapequa.
Donald Herring, 62, of Massapequa was crossing Merrick Road when a dark colored sports car ran him over and kept driving. Police say the car continued into Suffolk County.
Herring died at the scene.
