OCEAN CITY, N.J. (AP) -- Authorities in Ocean County say they found a crocodile on the street.
Police discovered the 3-foot-long reptile on East Longport Avenue in Ocean Gate Tuesday.
Police Chief Reece Fisher tells the Asbury Park Press the dangers are still inherent even though it wasn't fully grown.
The chief says a permit or license is needed for the exotic animal.
Berkeley Township Animal Control removed the crocodile.
