Deadly motorcycle crash in Taylor

(WJBK) -

A rush hour crash in Taylor kills one person and injures two others.

What happened here is not the kind of accident you see everyday. It's tragic. It's shocking. And it was caught on a party store surveillance camera. It is something even some veteran cops have never come across.

It was Tuesday evening in Taylor at the intersection of Ecorse and Beech Daly. There were two people on the motorcycle and another in the vehicle. The vehicle was making a left turn when it collided with the motorcycle.

The crash was so bad, the motorcycle was stuck inside the Chevy Colbolt. The impact was so forceful, the people on the motorcycle were thrown from the bike into the air and landed on the ground. And the man inside the car, could literally stand up.

The driver of the motorcycle was killed.

Police tell us the motorcycle driver and passenger were not wearing helmets, but investigators don't believe it would have made a difference. Both the passenger on the motorcycle and the driver of the vehicle suffered some injuries, but they are stable.
