Power coming back after outages in tristate

TRENTON, N.J. (AP) -

Utility crews are making progress restoring electricity that was knocked out to more than 3,800 homes and businesses when thunderstorms rolled through New Jersey.

Jersey Central Power & Light reports 640 customers are without power Monday, most of them in Morris county.

Atlantic City Electric has 100 customers without service, mainly in Atlantic County.

The thunderstorms packed powerful winds, lightning and downpours late Sunday evening.
