The modern Internet is portable, social, accelerated, and all-pervasive, according to a Newsweek/Daily Beast report. This Internet could be making people dumber, lonelier, more depressed, anxious, and possible worse: psychotic.
Some researchers suggest that the virtual world may even foster even more extreme forms of mental illness.
