A Queens councilman is allocating $250,000 to install an experimental system to try to get pigeons away from three subway stations in Queens.
The system includes an ultrasonic system that is supposed to scare birds but can not be heard by humans.
Councilman Jimmy Van Bramer says people have been complaining about having to dodge pigeon poop on their way in and out of the stations along the 7 line.
