Kristin Chenoweth recovering after on-set injury

Actress Kristin Chenoweth was home recovering Thursday after she was injured on the Brooklyn set of The Good Wife, reports the AP.

The actress' publicist, Jill Fritzo, said Chenoweth was hit in the head by scaffolding Wednesday and taken to the hospital by ambulance .

The lighting equipment reportedly fell to the ground after a gust of wind and Chenoweth hit her head on concrete during the fall just after 5 p.m.

Chenoweth "thanks everyone for their prayers and good wishes," said Fritzo.

Chenoweth is both a Broadway and TV star. 

She has starred in GCB, Glee and Pushing Daisies on the small screen, earning multiple Emmy awards.

She also has also won two Tony awards, including one for her role in Wicked in 2004.
