Two window washers were rescued from a scaffold that stalled high above midtown Manhattan Wednesday.
The incident occurred at 45th St. and 6th Ave., said firefighters.
The workers who were above the 40th floor were not seriously injured. They were taken to Bellevue Hospital as a precaution.
SkyFoxHD was over the scene where a platform attached to ropes appeared to be leaning to one side.
A window at the level of the leaning platform was open and likely the location where the workers were pulled to safety.
A spokesman for the Fire Department says firefighters cut through glass to reach the workers and pull them inside. The workers were stranded for about an hour, reported the Associated Press.
