Foxes running wild in Westchester

MYFOXNY.COM -

Residents of a neighborhood in Ossining village in Westchester are alarmed about reports of foxes in the neighborhood, according to lohud.com.

The site reports that one Mundet Drive woman suffered a fractured jaw and three fractured teeth when she tripped trying to run from a fox that was chasing her.

Kim Schuster reportedly needed five stitches on her chin, and  had to pay an $8,000 dental bill.

People say that there are four grey foxes that have taken up residence.  They think it is a family with two baby foxes.

Another resident said that the foxes have also charged him on a couple of occasions.

The police department reportedly had two traps set up around a vacant home where the foxes appear to have set up a den.

They have remained empty.
