NEW YORK (AP) - The commissioners of the New York City Board of Elections are expected to certify the results from the June 26 Democratic primary.
The certification will come around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.
On Monday, state Sen. Adriano Espaillat conceded to Rep. Charles Rangel for the second time in as many weeks.
The congressional primary appeared decided on election night, as Rangel seemed to hold a sizable lead. But the vote margin shrank, leading some to wonder if Espaillat had initially conceded too soon.
The borough managers from Manhattan will go before the commissioners with their reports before the results are formally certified.
