Staten Island deer population rises

Apparently even deer can't eat just one potato chip. A surge in the deer population on Staten Island is being partly blamed on people giving the wild animals food, including potato chips, DNAinfo reports.

One local community board says as a result the deer population is growing like crazy. The board members have started an awareness campaign to remind residents that deer are wild and can be a nuisance.
