REDFORD, Mich. (WJBK) -

A Redford family is left to clean up after a large tree crashed on top of their home during Thursday morning's strong thunderstorms.

Tracy Walker says she and her husband woke up to a large crash shortly before 5 a.m. A tree in her neighbor's yard succumbed to the 60 mph winds and toppled over onto her home.

Walker says no one was injured and that insurance companies have already been out to look at the damage.

Reports of damage flooded the FOX 2 phone lines all morning long. Viewers uploaded video of trees down in Novi, patio furniture destroyed in Livonia and large hail in Warren.
