Massive apartment fire in N.J.

Firefighters battled stifling temperatures and massive flames during a fire at an apartment building in Perth Amboy, New Jersey.

As many as 60 people were displaced by the fire and a baby was thrown to safety from one of 12 apartments in the three- story building, according to AP.

SkyFOXHD was over the blaze as it reached four alarms Thursday morning.

The roof appeared to have collapsed.

At least five ambulances reported to the scene. 

No injuries were reported.

It took firefighters about three hours to put out the flames which ignited at about 4:15 a.m.

State St. was closed between William St. and Buckingham Ave.
