Talking urinal cakes that tell men when they've had too much alcohol to drive are being installed throughout Detroit this week.

"While alcohol related crashes, fatalities and arrests continue to decline in Michigan, drunk drivers still impact hundreds of families each year," said Detroit Police Chief Ralph Godbee. He stressed that the main motivator behind these cakes is to keep people from driving drunk.

The Michigan Office of Highway Safety Planning said ten thousand dollars were spent on the purchase of the urinal cakes which are being installed at 200 locations in  the Detroit area.
