Inkster Police Department cut in half

INKSTER, Mich. (WJBK) -

The Inkster Police Department is operating with 21-less officers because of budget cuts.

The City of Inkster says the layoffs will shave $2 million off the city's budget, but the lack of police officers has residents worried about their safety. Inkster will be using more reserve police officers, but they don't have the same powers as sworn-in officers.
