Call for justice for imprisoned Brooklyn man in Bolivia

Elected officials are calling for a demand for freedom for a Brooklyn father who's been held in Bolivian prison for more than a year.
53-year-old Jacob Ostreicher was managing a rice business in Bolivia until he was arrested in June 3, 2011.
Lawmakers, family and friends gathered in front of the Bolivian Mission to the U.N. on East 43rd Street to demand his release.
The Bolivian government has accused Ostreicher of money laundering but his family claims he's innocent.
"He remains in prison despite evidence that was submitted in court proving his innocence, and Jacob is no closer to release now than he was 13 month ago," said his wife Miriam.
Fox 5 News has asked the Bolivian Embassy to comment but no one has called back.
