Queens man arrested in beating death of ex-girlfriend

The man wanted for killing his girlfriend inside their Queens apartment is now in custody.
Police spotted 33-year-old Jason Bohn eating dinner with his lawyer and his mother at a restaurant in White Plains Friday night.
Bohn was arrested and charged with murder and tampering with evidence. Police found the body of 27-year-old Danielle Thomas in a bathtub filled with bags of ice in Astoria Tuesday night.
The discovery came after Bohn called police to report an accident at the apartment.
An autopsy found that Thomas had been choked and beaten.
On June 7, Thomas reported to police that Bohn had beaten her in May, leaving her with two black eyes and on crutches. She said Bohn also was sending her threatening e-mails and text messages.
Bohn called her cellphone while she was at the police station. Thomas placed her cell on speakerphone, according to authorities.
According to District Attorney Richard A. Brown, "A police sergeant heard Bohn say, among other things, that `this was war, that he would hunt her down like a dog in the streets, and that he would bash in her skull."
Bohn was arrested that day, arraigned and released. Thomas received an order of protection against him.
Bohn could face up to 25 years to life in prison if convicted of murder, criminal contempt, and evidence tampering.
