CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

He may be the best known, most beloved game show host to ever grace the small screen.

Bob Eubanks was only 28 years old when he started hosting the enormously successful "Newlywed Game."

At 74, Eubanks has no plans to slow down.

"Were going to do probably 25 states and Canada also this year," Eubanks said. "It is America's greatest game show, and it's a compilation of every game show you have ever seen plus some that we have invented too."

Eubanks began his career in radio, segued into game show host and had a successful run as a music promoter or manager to acts such as Barry Manilow, The Supremes, Dolly Parton, Bob Dylan, Elton John, Merle Haggard among others.

If that's not impressive enough, he also promoted The Beatles and The Stones in California, during their early tours to the States.

He told FOX Chicago News it seemed to him that among the four Beatles and their manager Brian Epstein, John was in-charge.

"Lennon was the boss at the time and I would ask Brian Epstein a question," Eubanks explained, "he would always say to me I have to ask John. It was obvious that John was making most of the decisions."

Then there was the time he met President Nixon in the Oval Office, and then met him exactly one year later they met again at The Grand Ole Opry when Nixon's Watergate troubles were starting to surface.

Now, Bob Eubanks has a new lease on life.

After his first wife died, his three children from that marriage are grown up.

He remarried. He and his new wife him are raising a son, Noah.

"My youngest is 8," Eubanks said. "You know my granddaughter said, ‘I can't wait to baby sit my uncle.'"

This summer, he will begin touring America's Greatest Game Shows' "Everyone Wins."

All the while, this TV host and old cowboy will be laughing and smiling.

"I am a cowboy - always have been," Eubanks said. "Roy Rogers and Gene Autry were the most important people in my life next to my parents."

Eubanks' manager and promoter Jimmy Richards was born and raised in Oak Lawn – and he's still living there after all these years.
