The NYPD is looking for an Ivy League educated lawyer in connection with the murder of his girlfriend in Astoria.

On 33rd Street in Astoria, many women were shaken by the news that on Tuesday night the body of Danielle Thomas, 27, a financial analyst, was found beaten to death in her apartment.

Detectives are looking for Jason Bohn, 33, who lived with her. He is a Columbia graduate and got his law degree in Florida.

A neighbor, who lives one floor above, said the victim and Bohn argued so loudly she heard them. She said she often heard Bohn yelling at Thomas.

Another neighbor who lives on the same floor as the couple said he never saw fear but that they were not like a couple. He said they never held hands and seemed like strangers.

Thomas got a restraining order against Bohn after he allegedly beat her up on June 7. While she was getting the order at the nearby 114th Precinct stationhouse, he allegedly called and threatened her.

Police believe Bohn is outside the state.
