Garfield, the cat that weighs more than 40 lbs., was recently adopted at the North Shore Animal League.
Beth Stern, wife of Howard Stern, emailed GDNY on Tuesday about the good news.
Stern is a spokesperson for the no-kill animal shelter on Long Island and brought Garfield to Good Day NY to talk about his special needs especially one for a loving home.
