Thousands of runners were at Central Park to take part in the 10th Annual Achilles Hope and Possibility Race Sunday morning.
The five mile race included 40 members of the Achilles Freedom Team of Wounded Veterans.
The members of the Freedom Team competed with over 5,000 seasoned runners, disabled runners and wheelchair participants.
Achilles International is a non-profit organization that helps athletes with disabilities train and competes in mainstream races throughout the country.
