Staten Island EZ Pass holders received some very good news as a big price break could be on the way.
The break is part of Governor Andrew Cuomo's proposed new 60 percent discount plan that would start after two trips on Port Authority crossings.
This is a big change from the current 10 percent discount plan created by the Port Authority last fall.
Gov. Cuomo says the Port Authority of NY and NJ are scheduled to formally vote on the new discount plan Thursday, June 28.
The discount is scheduled to start within 30 to 60 days afterwards.
