Several students who bullied a bus monitor near Rochester are apologizing for their behavior.
Authorities provided the apology letters to Karen Klein on Friday.
A cell phone video of the monitor being bullied by students went viral earlier in the week. The video shows several middle school students verbally harassing and taunting Klein.
The abuse was so bad it brought her to tears at one point.
Klein says she hopes the apologies are sincere.
The video led to an internet campaign to raise money to send Klein on a dream vacation.
The tremendous generosity has raised more than $600,000 for Klein.
