Mayor Michael Bloomberg has come up with a new rationale for banning cell phones from city schools.
Bloomberg says students might use them to watch pornography.
The mayor said that "You have a big liability with pornography. The city would get sued right away."
Kids have been known to send inappropriate pictures of themselves to friends, but how the city would incur liability if those were sent during school hours remains undetermined.
