NYC man arrested for attack at Catskills camp

A Manhattan man was arrested on assault charges after attacking a roommate at an upstate camp.

The New York State Police arrested Juan Severino, 24 at camp Bnos Yakov Pupa on Levine Rd. in Swan Lake.

Police say that they got a 911 call about an altercation.

They say that Severino had an argument with a roommate from the Bronx.  Police say that it got physical and the victim was cut in his head.

Severino ran away but police dogs found him sleeping in another bungalow on camp property.

Severino was arrested on assault and harassment charges and was sent to the Sullivan County Jail in lieu of $2,500 bail.
