A psychic is accused of fleecing several customers out of hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Paula Lee is facing several charges, ranging from money laundering to theft by deception.

Investigators say that Lee had been acting as a psychic out of her Randolph Township, N.J. home.

Prosecutors say that Lee took increasing amounts of money from victims under the guise that the money needed to be "cleansed" through prayer and would eventually be returned.

One person lost approximately $160,000.  Others lost anywhere from $78,000 to $3,600.

Five victims lost an approximate total of $331,300, according to prosecutors.

Lee has since moved to Long Island.

After an investigation, police arrested Lee at her home business "Psychic Readings by Anna," in Hewlett.

She was being held in the Morris Country Correctional Facility on $75,000 cash only bond.

The Morris County Prosecutor's Office is looking for more potential victims.  If you have any information in the case you can call 973-285-6200.
