DETROIT (WJBK) -

There was no verdict Wednesday in the $12-million bid-rigging trial of Bobby Ferguson after a new juror took the place of one that got sick.

It seems that the jury may be mad at each other.  There were a number of questions asked of the judge.  One of those questions was do the jurors have to vote collectively to ask the judge a question.  The judge said no, any juror can ask a question any time they wish.

Also, the jurors asked if they could change their minds.  The judge said they could up until the verdict is read in open court.

On the merits, the jury did want a clarification of a law that says that banks must report any and all transactions above $10,000.  Earlier testimony showed that Bobby Ferguson wrote 18 different checks totaling $9,500 per check to himself.

It's expected that testimony of former Ferguson employee Shakib Deria will be re-read on Thursday.  He testified about those $9,500 checks, as well as a gun that was found in Ferguson's safe.
