Governor Andrew Cuomo and legislative leaders agreed on a cyberbullying bill Saturday.

The bill defines cyberbullying as harassment, insults, taunting and threats through social media.

The new bill would not include a criminal charge.

The new law would require school administrators to act swiftly to any reports of cyberbullying and to increase awareness efforts.

The legislature is expected to vote on the bill next week.
