The Australian Ballet is performing in New York City for the first time in 13 years as part of its 50th anniversary celebration.

The company is performing at Lincoln Center's David H. Koch Theater until Sunday, June 17.

"Swan Lake" has been told retold countless times, by ballet companies all over the world. But never like this. It features a royal twist.

Theater goers will find a story more contemporary and relatable than the countless renditions performed before. David McAllister, the creative director, said the show is based on the love triangle of Diana, Charles, and Camilla.

The Australian Ballet has performed this version to wide acclaim in cities across the globe.

Fox 5's parent company, News Corporation, is the media sponsor for the performances.
