This has the word "nuclear" written all over it.

Suffice it to say women's rights groups will go ballistic over the GOP leadership in the Michigan House for muzzling two Democrat female lawmakers for their comments and actions on the abortion issue this week.

Rep. Lisa Brown (D-West Bloomfield) was censured and not allowed to participate in floor debate on Thursday for using the word "vagina" during the abortion debate on Wednesday. (Click the video player above to watch the statement)

"What is wrong with that?" she asked during a scrum with capitol correspondents after she was told to be quiet.

"I used an anatomically correct word. I said vagina. Is there something wrong with that? Can I not say elbow? I don't see the difference," she concludes.

Well the House GOP Speaker ruled that her comments were "unprofessional" and disrupted the "decorum" of the House or so his mouthpiece Ari Adler explained for Mlive.com.

Also told to sit down and be quiet was Lansing area Rep. Barb Byrum who shouted on the house floor during the same abortion debate trying to speak to an amendment she was offering. She was gaveled down but her behavior drew the same GOP response: "unprofessional" and disrupted the "decorum."

Mr. Byrum said she was "standing up for the people in my district. I am very disappointed. No one should be censured in the House," she opines.

As for the GOP Speaker Jase Bolger (R-Marshall), Ms. Byrum says she would look him in the eye and say, "How dare you squash my constituent's voice."

Which is precisely the battle cry you may hear from others around the country once this thing goes viral...and it will and it will get ugly.
