MONEY BUSINESS AT BRONX ZOO:  Some may call it monkey business, but I think it is very clever.  The Bronx Zoo has put Chewy the monkey to work fighting a proposal at City Hall to cut 58 percent of its funding. In this YouTube video we see Chewy, who is technically a pygmy marmoset, on an iPad and he appears to draw "don't cut our spending." On the Bronx Zoo's website, Chewy says "I knew something was up.  My keepers tried to keep it a secret, but we pygmy marmosets can sense when trouble is brewing.  Please join me and tell City Hall to quit this monkey business and save our funding!"

JAZZ FESTIVALS IN NYC: Jazz fans listen up!   The Blue Note Jazz Festival is back in New York now until June the 30.  More than 50-shows are taking place throughout New York City.  The festival features high profile acts such as McCoy Tyner, Bela Fleck, Kathleen Battle, Roy Haynes and many more.  Artists will be performing at BB Kings, The Blue Note, Highline ballroom and at other locations including Brooklyn.  Also, the Vision Festival in Brooklyn is underway.
