A Brooklyn teenager won $1,000 a week for life in a New York Lottery scratch-off game.

18-year-old Robert Salo of Brooklyn, New York was presented a $1,000,000 over-sized prize check today. Lottery officials said he bought his "Win for Life" ticket at Coney Island Convenience, a local store, on May 14th.

"It's like you're in a dream. It's honestly like you don't know if it's real or not and then reality hits you later on," said Salo after being presented his prize check.

Salo is guaranteed to receive a minimum payment of $1,000,000 over 20 years. After 20 years, he will receive a check for $52,000. Salo said he plans to fulfill his dream going to college and pursuing a career in engineering.

He's 1 of several winners from Brooklyn, Queens and Long Island getting their ceremonial checks on Tuesday morning.

A total of $7 million in prizes was set to be awarded.
