Seaside Heights Police arrested "Jersey Shore" cast member Deena Cortese for disorderly conduct on Sunday afternoon.
The AP reported that Cortese, of New Egypt, and other cast members were in a Mexican restaurant before Cortese went into the roadway and began dancing and impeding traffic, police said.
A witness, George Adames, said Cortese sang "I Wanna Dance with Somebody," stopped traffic, and then stumbled before cops handcuffed her.
An officer said she appeared to be intoxicated. Police brought her to headquarters, processed her, and released her to her mother, the AP reported.
MTV spokesman declined to comment.
The hit show is in its sixth and final season with the original cast.

It's also the same price motorists were paying a year ago.The national average price also remained stable, coming in at $3.63 for the second straight week.
