Bloomberg: Stop and Frisk should be changed, not ended

Mayor Michael Bloomberg defended the NYPD's Stop and Frisk policy on Sunday.
Bloomberg spoke at the First Baptist Church in Brownsville and despite those who have called it a form of racial profiling, the mayor said the police needs to be mended, not ended.
Bloomberg said that is to ensure the stops are conducted appropriately and with as much courtesy as possible.
The mayor said the NYPD has a new training course to reinforce the proper protocols for the stops and the responsibilities that officers have when they make one.
