The Wayne County Sheriff has established an antonymous 24-hour tip line where people can report stores in the county selling synthetic marijuana, otherwise known as K2 or Spice.

The number to call is (734) 727-7163.

It seems every community is taking action.  Tuesday we heard from Livonia and Port Huron, as well as Wayne County where county Executive Robert Ficano has signed an order banning synthetic drugs.

Meanwhile, state lawmakers are moving quickly to crackdown on this growing crisis.  The House Judiciary Committee passed two bills on Tuesday that will allow police and the state Health Department to more aggressively remove the synthetic drug from stores.

"People are dying from this or getting violently ill.  There's a woman whose lost portions of her memory.  I mean the stories go on and on and on, and what we're trying to do is just strengthen the state's ability to react more quickly so we can stop this," said state Rep. John Walsh.

Walsh tells FOX 2 lawmakers will get this legislation on the books by next week.

The saying art is autobiographical takes on a whole new meaning when your canvas is a fully nude human body, as it is for artist Andy Golub. Andy along with 30 other artists and 45 Technicolor models paraded around several Manhattan hotspots over the weekend for NYC Body Painting day. Believe or not, this is completely legal in New York City.
