An art project honoring firefighters who dies on 9/11 has opened in Lower Manhattan. Better Angels: The Firefighters of 9/11 will be on public display June 4 to 8 at 2 World Financial Center, 225 Liberty Street.

The project is a partnership between artist Dawn Howkinson Siebel and the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation.

The work contains 343 individual oil portraits on small burned blocks of wood. Siebel began working on Better Angels in 2006.

The paintings have been on a 10-city national tour with New York as the final city.

Fox 5's Linda Schmidt interviewed Siebel and viewed the installation.
