An emotional plea in front of the Citgo station where many parents say their children bought synthetic designer drugs in the past. An equally emotional gas station manager apologized for selling K2 and its likes to children. We talked to one boy who tried it and risked his life.

"This is kids that are doing this stuff and you're letting them hurt themselves," was the message from Cody Watson, 15. "Why?"

All Citgo stations across the nation are demanding stores stop selling K2 as of Friday. But anger lingers over damage many parents say is already done to kids in Shelby Township who bought it from the Van Dyke store.

Legislation to ban drugs like K2 is in the works, but may take time.
