Baby lemurs born this spring at the Bronx Zoo are now on display to the public.

The lemur, which are endemic to Madagascar, are on display at the zoo's Madagascar! exhibit, which educates visitors about the island country's biodiversity.

The populations of the Coquerel's sifaka and the collared lemur are experiencing dramatic declines because of the loss of suitable habitat, according to the Wildlife Conservation Society.

The Coquerel's sifaka is listed as an endangered species, and the collared lemur is listed as vulnerable, the WCS said.

The society works in Madagascar to protect lemurs and other wildlife.
