Some otter pups have made their debut at the Prospect Park Zoo in Brooklyn.
The three North American river otters were born at the zoo in February to Dixie, a 3-year-old female, and Oogie, a 10-year-old male, the Wildlife Conservation Society said.
They are the first such otters born in a New York City zoo or aquarium since 1956, according to WCS.
The pups can be seen in an exhibit on the park's Discovery Trail.
North American river otters, members of the weasel family, live near lakes, rivers, and coastal areas of Canada, Upper Great Lakes, New England, and the Atlantic and Gulf Coast regions of the United States, according to WCS.
