The tax season is over and so is the era of the instant tax refund. The I-Team's Dana Fowle says these quick loans were pricey and there was simply too much fraud.
The quick refunds found a place in the market because it took so long for the IRS to get returns completed. But that's not the case anymore. Now the IRS's goal is to get that return out in two weeks. It's faster than it used to be. And you can have that refund deposited electronically into your account. And it can be done free or for very little money.
