Controversial Richton Park Charter School Southland College Prep Opens Monday

Students at a controversial charter school in the south suburbs will be moving Monday into their new building.

Sunday was Southland College Prep Charter High School's grand opening celebration in Richton Park.

The school opened last fall in a temporary space.

Some local school administrators are opposed to Southland College Prep.

They fear that other schools will lose funding as students migrate to Southland College Prep.
