Norwood Park's Onahan School Wins $25,000 from Discover

A school in Chicago's Norwood Park neighborhood has received a big financial boost.

Representative Mike Quigley Monday presented Onahan School with a $25,000 check.

Onahan recently earned the most votes for Discover's School Giveaway contest on Facebook.

More than 2,900 schools nationwide were nominated.

The money will go towards books, supplies, technology and other much-needed items for the school.
